Conflict Minerals Policy 

At Seeco (UK) Ltd, we are committed to conducting business responsibly and ethically throughout our supply chain. We recognise the importance of sourcing materials in a way that respects human rights and supports responsible mining practices.

Conflict minerals are generally defined as tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (commonly referred to as 3TG). These minerals may originate from regions affected by armed conflict and human rights abuses, particularly the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and neighbouring countries.

While Seeco does not directly source raw minerals from mines or smelters, we understand our responsibility as part of the wider manufacturing supply chain. We are committed to working with our suppliers to promote responsible sourcing and to minimise the risk of conflict minerals entering the products we manufacture.

Our commitment includes: 

• Encouraging suppliers to source materials responsibly and ethically. 

• Working with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible business practices. 

• Supporting compliance with applicable legislation and recognised industry standards relating to conflict minerals. 

• Requesting information from suppliers where appropriate to help identify the origin of conflict minerals used within our supply chain. 

• Reviewing our supply chain practices and policies on an ongoing basis to support continuous improvement.

Seeco supports international efforts to eliminate the funding of armed conflict through the trade of conflict minerals and is committed to maintaining a transparent, responsible and ethical supply chain. 

We expect our suppliers to exercise due diligence within their own supply chains and to provide relevant information regarding the sourcing of conflict minerals when requested. 

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains appropriate to our business operations and reflects current legislation and industry best practice.
